Compete a tandem charity skydive for the Children’s Air Ambulance and help fundraise for this much needed service.
The Children’s Air Ambulance is changing the face of paediatric care through the high speed transfer of critically ill children. Right now, this free of charge service works alongside NHS transport teams to help fly paediatric patients to specialist treatment. It is the first and only dedicated paediatric helicopter emergency transfer service in the country.
The bespoke, specialist equipment on-board the helicopter provides a flying intensive care unit for children and when a child is too sick to fly, the Children’s Air Ambulance can fly a specialist team to them. With flight times commonly around four times quicker than a transfer by road, in many cases, the time saved means a life saved.
We receive no government funding and rely entirely on voluntary donations, your support will help to keep hope alive for these young patients and their families. Find out more at www.thechildrensairambulance.org.uk
There are no upcoming events for this charity, however you can book for any date whilst fundraising for this cause. Just contact us for further details.
If there are 10 or more people sign-up for this skydive event, then the total cost for the skydive will be £209 per-person. After you have paid your club membership fee of £60, the charity will be left with a total of £159 to pay per-person. Everything you raise over this will be going to the Children’s Air Ambulance.
Unfortunately, we can’t share skydiving with everyone. There are some age, weight and medical restrictions which you can find here.
